The Work You'll Do: The Sales Engineer will work with the Direct Sales and Alliance teams to provide technical support during the sales cycle for our relevant solutions within Sovos' Indirect Tax Technology Suite (ITTS). The Senior Sales Engineer acts as the bridge between sales and product, professional services & support, utilizing technical expertise to support the sales team and deliver solutions that meet customer needs. The Senior Sales Engineer will be adept at developing and leveraging technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring a seamless integration of product offerings with client needs. Also, this role possesses strong communication, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration and the successful execution of complex sales initiatives. The Sales Engineer will also conduct impactful product demonstrations and assist in the preparation of responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Senior Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Engineering Manager – Europe. More specifically, you will: Provide superior domain expertise around ITTS solutions Maintain expert level understanding of functionality and technical architecture of our products Assist in the client discovery process to help uncover unforeseen challenges and desired solution architecture
