The proposed thesis is part of the EASE (Enable Affordable Smart Environment) research team at the IRISA laboratory. This research group focuses on the development of pervasive applications in complex environments, with a strong emphasis on smart cities and smart agriculture, particularly in relation to autonomous vehicles and communication technologies such as 5G-V2X.
Scientific and Technological Context:
V2X (Vehicle to Everything) technology enhances road safety through real-time communication among vehicles and infrastructure. The project aims to evolve the ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) architecture to accommodate multiple communication technologies, ensuring effective information exchange among various devices involved in V2X communication.
Expected Contributions of the Thesis:
The thesis aims to design a service-based radio resource management method that prioritizes urgent communications while optimizing resource allocation. This involves developing a real-time cooperation model between vehicles and the network, focusing on critical information transmission based on service logic.
