Coli in the mouse gut".1. The position of postdoctoral researcher is available at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC) facilities in Oeiras, Portugal, under an undefined employment contract for a maximum duration of 4 years. The candidate will work in the Evolutionary Biology Laboratory directed by Dr. Isabel Gordo.2. Scientific Area: Microbiology – Evolutionary Biology.3. The candidate must hold a doctoral degree in biology or a related field and have a scientific and professional curriculum that evidences an adequate profile for the activity to be carried out.4. General tender admission requirements: Candidates should have a PhD in Life Sciences with experience in microbiology and/or gut microbiota. The applicant should be able to engage with several aspects of a multi-disciplinary project and collaborate closely with other team members.5. Evaluation criteria: Applications will be evaluated according to the Curriculum vitae (35%) and the motivation letter (30%). If deemed necessary, interviews will represent 35% of the final classification.6.
