EDP Renewables, long-term market leader in the renewable energy sector, pursuing credibility through safety, value creation, social responsibility, innovation, and respect for the environment is looking to recruit a Planning & Control (FP&A) Analyst for the FP&A North America BP department.

What you will do :
The Planning & Control (FP&A) Analyst will support the Planning & Control team in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for the execution of the company's strategic plans.
Produce monthly construction and development Totex reports and explain variances vs. the previous month vs. the approved budget, interacting with the development and construction teams as needed;
Monitor and control SG&A expenses, producing monthly reports and liaising with teams when necessary to ensure correct allocation;
Perform in-depth analysis of actual financial performance to provide feedback to the Management, establish value drivers, and explain discrepancies from target performance;
Assure the quality of data, both operational and financial, in the Company's reporting tool;
Participate in developing and implementing process improvements related to financial reporting;
Support the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes;
Prepare presentations to the Executive Team and Senior Management;
Additional duties as assigned.

What are we looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field;
Up to 4 years' experience in Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis;
Advanced proficiency in Excel is a must;
Experience in cost control preferred;
Experience in SAP and / or Power BI is a plus;
Excellent analytical and data-handling skills;
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
Ability to be self-motivated;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
Ability to work well both independently and as part of an interdependent team.
