To support our growth, we are looking for a Process Engineer with an operational focus to make Waterleau's promised solutions come true with our customers.
Our new colleague will be jointly responsible for (mainly) remotely supporting our (international) customers running their (waste) water installations. 10 - 20% of your time, you would be travelling to perform audits. It is an independent role, combining remote day-to-day operational support with remote or onsite troubleshooting; the role also implies taking part in a standby shift.
As a water technology company, Waterleau brings solutions for water and wastewater, helping governments and companies achieve their sustainability goals. From a service level agreement to complete takeover of water plant operations and maintenance, Waterleau helps enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Remotely supporting the customer with their day-to-day water treatment installation.
Guiding the customer to optimise their Opex costs.
Provide training to different stakeholders.
Formulating improvement proposals, with a focus on reducing Opex.
Monitoring KPIs.
Defining business opportunities.
First point of contact for the customer.
Qualifications: You have a technical education (bioengineer, industrial engineer in chemistry, biochemistry or equivalent through experience).
You have good contact and communication skills (written and verbal, EN-FR) . Spanish is an added value.
You can connect with people and share your knowledge in a remote way.
You have some years of relevant experience in a biological wastewater treatment environment.
You are motivated, creative, and have ownership.
You have a sense of initiative and a practical attitude.
Responsible, flexible, and like to work independently and in a team.
A deep dive in digital data does not bother you; defining the root cause of an operational issue and defining the solution is where you thrive.
An occasional short trip (1 to 2 weeks) abroad does not frighten you.
A valid driver's licence.
