Job Summary Position responsible for performing and overseeing various laboratory tests/procedures as assigned.
Job DescriptionMemorial Hermann TMC seeks a MLT or MT Supplemental. This position will cover weekends and during the week as needed.
Flexibility to attend 3 days of orientation during the first week of employment is required.
Must be ASCP or AMT certified.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in biological science (Equivalency Required for Foreign Education)
Licenses/Certifications: Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Technologist (AMT), Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International), Certified CLS (ASCP), Certified MLS (ASCP or ASCP-International)CM or ASCP Certification Eligible
ASCP Certification Eligible: Bachelor's degree in biological science AND Successful completion of a NAACLS accredited MLS program within the last 5 years; orMLT(ASCP) certification and two years of full time acceptable laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last four years; orCLA (ASCP) Certification and a bachelor's degree in a biological science with four years of full time acceptable experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last eight years; orFive years of full time acceptable clinical laboratory experience in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S., Canada or an accredited laboratory within the last ten years.Together, we're creating an environment where exceptional care can flourish.
