What you'll need
Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in electrical or mechanical topics (essential).
Basic level training in Occupational Health and Safety.
Excellent time management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Practical-minded, flexible, proactive, and dynamic person. Promote a positive attitude in everything you do.
Independent person who generates/creates trust with the rest of the team.

What you'll be doing
Installation, manipulation, and adjustment of machine controls that regulate operating functions to ensure they meet specifications.
Perform all maintenance tasks (technical cleaning, assembly, disassembly, etc.) of the Facility in accordance with the company's specifications and policies.
Consult work orders and specifications to determine machines and/or equipment that require repair or maintenance.
Supervise the correct execution and internal procedures and policies of the work carried out by external companies.
Collection of worn machine parts and other waste for maintenance of machinery and work areas.
Replace, empty, or supply machines or containers with empty equipment, such as gas tanks or boxes.
Transport between work areas and warehouse of machinery parts, tools, equipment, and other materials through the use of crane, forklift, or rolling jack.
Carry out the inventory and request from the Maintenance Chief the parts, equipment, and other machinery supplies to maintain the stock.
Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and order of the facilities.
Under prior authorization and training by the company, use production machinery and/or vehicle driving.
Ensure the control and monitoring of control points and prerequisite programs (PC, PCC, PPR of chamber temperature, prerequisite programs: maintenance).
Registration and maintenance of inventory on the production, repair, and care of machines.
Carry out periodic reviews of the state of the safety devices implemented in facilities, for themselves and work equipment, as well as personal protective equipment.
Ensure that workers effectively comply with the use of the protective and safety equipment necessary for the development of the work.
Compliance with applicable procedures and instructions regarding HACCP standards for food safety or comparable, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Environment, ISO and IFS.
Foster a positive work ethos and environment by maintaining a close working relationship with other departments and promoting proactivity, communication, and togetherness.
Follow the Occupational Safety regulations implemented and report any non-compliance with them that may be detected.
