Ip Transport Network Engineer

What you'll do
The purpose of this role is to plan and design the best IP / MPLS transport network for all Vodafone services
Key accountabilities :
Plan and design IP / MPLS networks for high-capacity transport, ensuring optimal performance and security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and develop effective solutions including, but not limited to, mobile / fixed network aggregation, business services and internet routing
Conduct network assessments and capacity planning to accommodate future growth and technology advancements - develop and manage deployment plans
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies, protocols, and trends to provide proactive solutions
Who you are
Engineering degree (BSc / MSc) in Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field
Mandatory spoken / written fluency in English
Cisco / Nokia certifications not mandatory but will be valued
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IP network engineering, specifically with IP / MPLS networks.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Cisco and Nokia networking equipment. Focus on high-end platforms is preferred
Strong understanding of networking protocols, including ISIS, BGP, MPLS, QoS, MPLS / SR-TE, L2VPN / EVPN
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience collaborating in / with multi-country teams
