What You'll Do As the Data Protection Manager, AI (DPMAI), you will play a crucial role in reviewing and advising on compliance aspects and assessing risks associated with technical solutions that process personal data and use AI, machine learning, or automated decision-making technologies.
Being part of the Data Protection Office, you'll work closely with Information Security Architects, case teams, and other functional teams to ensure our systems and the systems we build for clients are designed and managed with privacy and security in mind.
Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating on and supporting assessments, risk evaluations, and compliance reviews of IT systems, including data protection and data transfer impact assessments.
Providing insights on policies and risk mitigation strategies, focusing on privacy, security-by-design, data minimization, and responsible data usage.
Working on audits and assessments that help ensure alignment with data protection guidelines and requirements, including GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations.
What You'll Bring You're Good At If you enjoy working with innovative technology in a compliance context and have in-depth knowledge of data protection, this role could be a great fit for you.
Some key responsibilities include: Assessing AI-related applications and services to identify potential privacy risks and developing scalable, practical controls for data collection, storage, usage, and deletion.
Providing guidance to technical and case teams on privacy and data protection, particularly in areas such as AI usage, security-by-design, and data anonymization.
Leading data protection impact assessments, audits, and reviews to help our organization uphold high standards of data privacy and security.
What You'll Bring We're looking for candidates who are comfortable working at the intersection of data protection, technology, and AI.
You might be a great fit if you bring: Familiarity with data protection laws and principles and AI-related regulations (ideally demonstrated by IAPP or other certifications) and a willingness to learn and stay up to date.
Understanding of AI concepts such as machine learning, neural networks, bias, and model drift—and a strong interest in building these skills.
Experience with data protection impact assessments and/or Agile methodologies, or a desire to develop these areas.
Skills in information security or information technology—software development experience (Python, C#, C++) or a background in product development frameworks can be helpful but are not required.
Excellent research, communication, and organizational skills to manage projects, adapt to new challenges, and communicate insights clearly.
Work experience in a multinational organization A professional approach to handling sensitive information and managing multiple priorities effectively.
