Job Title: Flutter QA Automation Engineer Location: Remote - Portugal Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain an automation framework that ensures robust and efficient testing.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support and enhance the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain an automation framework to execute automated tests effectively.
Write, execute, and monitor automated test suites using appropriate tools for the projects technology stack.
Collaborate with DevOps to ensure proper setup and maintenance of test environments.
Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment with the software development lifecycle, particularly with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
Lead the automation of Smoke, Regression, End-to-End (E2E), and System Integration tests.
Gather, define, and document project requirements for automation tests and frameworks.
Establish and enforce best practices in automation testing.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical engineers to support the overall quality assurance strategy.
Communicate automation updates to the broader business and relevant stakeholders.
Influence engineering teams to continuously improve software quality.
Requirements: Proficiency in automating web applications built with Flutter.
Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in QA test automation in a commercial environment.
Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
Familiarity with SikuliX framework/library or similar tools.
Proficiency with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of API automation and manual testing with tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Python Requests.
Proficient programming skills in C#, Java, Dart, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Familiarity with managing test data and environments.
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize automation strategies for complex systems.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Additional certifications in agile software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
