Finance Capital Markets Products Controller Job Description: The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller mission is to ensure the reliability, sincerity, integrity, and the exhaustiveness of the accounting delivered by the upstream chains (Front to Back) and organization (Operations – Back and Middle Office).
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure proper justification on all accounting control, including reconciliation with Ops data inventory and reconciliation of sensitive accounts.
Analyze breaks and operational or financial risks.
Monitor and follow up on discrepancies resolution.
Synthesize the closing files with the results of all controls for management, level 2 control, and other partners.
Ensure accounting control level one on a dedicated perimeter of products within your team.
Manage escalations to the management if needed.
Ensure good collaboration with all partners and facilitate communication during the closing period.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the control set-up.
Formalize team procedures and operating guides, including participation in training and coaching for new joiners.
Contribute or lead projects related to the efficiency of processes and systems.
Contribute to the Finance Arbitrage major project, including assisting with other Business & regulatory projects.
Technical Skills:
Bachelor's degree (3-5 years) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
Finance - Financial Markets.
Controls-oriented profile with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office Pack, especially Excel.
