Field Service Engineer
Location: Dublin-Remote-Field
Contract: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: 46-50K gross DOE p/year
Bonus plan in place after probationary period to 10% of salary.
25 days holidays, service additional days after 2 years to build up to 30 days.

Our Field Service Engineer will join a team of experienced engineers providing technical support to renal dialysis equipment. A structured training programme will be put in place for the successful candidate incorporating certified manufacturer training courses in conjunction with hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers on customer sites. You will be challenged in this role to develop and establish expertise in the company renal equipment and technology. This is a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative, and professional engineering team with exposure to cooperate on projects with our international colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Engage in the technical repair, both preventative and corrective, of equipment at customer sites or other locations.
Advise and lead on the installation requirements for a renal dialysis unit.
Undertake technical and user support training (both locally and in Germany) for company products and any other relevant equipment.
Develop and maintain a level of technical competency to work independently and confidently.
Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies in the dynamic environment of modern medical devices.
Be commercially aware and market-oriented.
Flexibility to travel to our customers throughout Ireland.
Work as part of a team in the achievement of team/organizational objectives.
Assist in the administration of spare parts stock and other record-keeping duties.
Engage and understand the policies and procedures associated with the business.
Participate in any other activities which will benefit the team and the customer.

Requirements:
Qualified in electronic/electrical/mechanical/biomedical engineering or similar technical discipline.
Strong IT and communication skills essential.
Previous experience in renal technical services (maintenance & repair) and IT hardware is desirable but not essential.
Comfortable working in a clinical setting and interacting with allied health professionals (e.g., nurses, doctors, biomed engineers).
Familiar with relevant EU Directives for medical devices, e.g., MDR, EN 60601, ISO quality standards.
Full clean driving license.
Flexible to travel regularly throughout Ireland, and further as the need arises.
