You'll join a dynamic team, where your role will involve ensuring smooth logistics, efficient production, and timely delivery of our top-notch products. We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.
Your Mission
Creation of concept designs in 3D incl. pre-dimensioning of critical components
Elaboration of solution proposals & comparative evaluations of possible variants
Specification / optimization of the design (technical/economic) and creation of complete assembly designs in 3D CAD CATIA, interface drawings, and mass budgets
Carrying out the detailed designs in 3D CAD CATIA
Preparation of technical documentation using CATIA CAD, SAP and PC (BSP, detail and assembly drawings, specifications, parts lists)
Performing tasks in connection with release, change and procurement management and procurement.
Advising / supporting the departments responsible for production, assembly, and testing
Defining / designing test setups/ devices, jigs & tools
Preparing contributions to quotations
Participation in project meetings
Clarifying technical problems with the responsible departments
Supervision of the design until acceptance by the client
Supervising and coordinating assigned project staff
Creating project presentation documents and conducting presentations
Incorporating advanced technologies and materials into the design work
Your Story
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in structural design engineering
Works on products and projects of medium, sometimes increased complexity largely independently.
Understanding, competence, and experience in Engineering design processes, tools, standards incl. ISO GPS, and methodologies
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, their potentials, and limitations
Friendly, accommodating behaviour; Appropriate appearance.
Solution driven, willing to make a difference, service provider mindset.
Persistence to overachieve goals.
Team player mentality; Communicative, open-minded, creative, flexible and organizational personality
Willing to share experience and knowledge and accept and use expert knowledge.
Logic and concise thinker, capable of finding simple solutions for complex problems without oversimplifying.
Stress resistance and perseverance, able to keep structured and prioritize in a complex environment.
