About the role In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enforcing data governance policies and practices across the company. Your focus will be on ensuring data quality, consistency, availability, and security, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
As a part of your job, you will: Design and implement a data governance framework that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for data ownership.
Establish data quality standards and metrics.
Monitor and report on data quality issues, working with data stewards and business units to resolve them.
Develop, document, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to data privacy and security.
Lead the development and implementation of MDM strategies to ensure a single source of truth for key data domains.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including data owners, business leaders, and IT, to align data governance efforts with business objectives.
What are we looking for? 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role;
Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and initiatives;
Experience with data governance tools, metadata management, and data quality tools;
Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Personal traits: Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and clients;
Teamwork skills but also sense of autonomy;
Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included;
Willingness to collaborate with other players;
Strong communication skills.
