In this instance, we are on the lookout for professionals to fill the position of Civil Supervisor.
Location: Sines, Portugal Work Modality: On-site Responsibilities: Familiarize yourself with and thoroughly understand the project, identifying potential anomalies, interferences, or changes.
Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with technical and safety requirements.
Advise contractors on the interpretation of documentation issued by Engineering according to Project Management.
Ensure that work schedules are aligned with project objectives and quality standards.
Monitor the technical documentation used by construction contractors, confirming the latest approved editions.
Conduct daily safety reviews in the field and confirm compliance with the Project and Safety Plans.
Collaborate with Site Management and Construction in all aspects of the work, such as Quality Control, progress, deadlines and schedules, certifications, cost control, etc.
Lead, coordinate, and supervise contractors and participants in your area/specialty in coordination with the Construction Manager.
Coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
Requirements: Vocational training or a university degree in a related field.
Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the chemical industry.
Strong leadership skills and ability to make effective decisions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Good level of English.
