Business Development Specialist 
Mission As a member of our team, your mission is to drive growth and innovation in the energy industry through strategic market analysis, process development and improvement, strategic partnerships, and efficient project management. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, optimizing operational processes, establishing key alliances, and leading the successful implementation of projects to achieve our business objectives. Your efforts will directly contribute to strengthening our competitive position and expanding our presence in the energy market
What you´ll do  1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics within the energy industry.
• Analyze market data and customer insights to identify untapped opportunities for growth, including new markets, products, and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess market potential and develop strategic plans to capitalize on identified opportunities.
2. Process Development and Improvement: • Evaluate existing operational processes across various aspects of the shipping and energy value chain, including production, distribution, and consumption. • Identify areas for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction through the implementation of best practices and innovative technologies.
• Lead/coordinate cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
3. Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key industry players, technology providers, and government agencies to enhance our competitive position and expand our market reach.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure alignment with our business objectives.
• Collaborate with partners to pilot new products, services, and solutions that address emerging market needs and technological advancements.
4. Project Management and Implementation:
• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of business development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including internal stakeholders and external partners, to drive project success and achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, key milestones, and performance metrics, and recommend adjustments as needed
What you´ll need •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Shipping, Energy Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development or operations roles within the shipping or energy industry.
• Deep understanding of shipping industry and energy markets, with a focus on sustainability and decarbonization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive business growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results within established timelines and budgets.
• High level of English is a mus
