Key Responsibilities: System Design and Implementation:
- Design and develop automated manufacturing systems.
- Integrate robotics, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other automation technologies. Process Improvement:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. Project Management:
- Manage automation projects from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet performance specifications. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with automated equipment and control systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on automation systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs. Training and Support:
- Train production staff and maintenance technicians on the use and maintenance of automated systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all automation systems comply with safety regulations and standards. Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in PLC programming and control systems. Knowledge of robotics and machine vision systems. Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols. Strong analytical skills to assess and improve manufacturing processes. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Experience managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
